Amazing food and the best empanadas on Long Island. I will never go to another bodega
Love this place ! Amazing food . I had the beef n cheese empanadas and also had rice w beef n potatoes .
I love this place! I used to work about a mile awhile and this was the go to lunch spot for me and obviously a bunch of other people since it's always packed during lunch time! I don't leave without the chicken empanadas and usually a small (which is actually not small at all) stew chicken over yellow rice and beans meal. The empanadas are always for now and the rest for later. This place has the makings of a corner store with candy, chips, and soda, plus small grocery store vibes, and the food of a restaurant! Never disappoints!
This is not your typical grocery store. Although you find many of the groceries items in your list for preparing your Latin dishes; this establishments also offers hot food. The quality and selection of dishes is above many local eateries. The food is restaurant quality. You will find; roasted chicken, chicharron, ribs, fried chicken, fish, pollo guizado and many others. This is another family favorite specially for days the wife is too tired to cook or if is my turn to cook! Portions are generous and dishes are sold in (3) different sizes. We usually select the small order; this allows us to try different dishes.
The food is great here, Hispanic cousin. It's like a buffet style and you could pick what you like.
